If ReturnMate feels slow or unresponsive, the steps below resolve most cases. These are standard browser troubleshooting steps, not ReturnMate-specific settings.

Quick Checks

  1. Use a current browser — a recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge
  2. Clear your browser cache — stale cached assets are a common cause of odd behaviour after an update
  3. Disable interfering extensions — ad blockers, privacy tools and script blockers can block or slow the admin; try a private/incognito window (with extensions off) to test
  4. Check your connection — try another network or device to rule out local network issues
  5. Close unused tabs — dozens of open tabs can starve the browser of memory

Working with Large Datasets

When lists or reports feel slow, narrow what's being loaded: filter by date range, status or store rather than browsing everything, and search by RMA number when you know it.

Still Slow?

If performance problems persist after the steps above:

  1. Note when the issue occurs and what you were doing
  2. Try a different browser or device to confirm it isn't local
  3. Contact support with those details — see Getting Support
