Print Clients connect your label printers directly to ReturnMate for automatic label printing. Configure under Settings > Print Clients and Settings > Labels & Device Tags.

The ReturnMate Print Client is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that connects to your locally installed printers.

Requirements:

  • Windows 10+ or macOS 11+
  • On macOS, separate builds are available for Apple Silicon (M-series) and Intel Macs
  • The printer must be installed in the operating system first — on Windows via the printer's Windows driver, on macOS as a CUPS printer (e.g. Zebra's CUPS driver in System Settings → Printers)

Download the App

In Settings > Print Clients, download the build for your platform: Windows, Mac (Apple Silicon) or Mac (Intel).

Generate Pairing Code

In Settings > Print Clients, click Add Print Client and enter a name (e.g. "Warehouse Bay 1"). A pairing code is generated, valid for 10 minutes.

Pair the Client

Enter the pairing code in the desktop app. The client will connect and show as Active.

Configure Printers

In the desktop app, select which connected printer handles each carrier and label type.
